It depends on what type of 772/ER you're referring to. My assumption is the retrofitted ones will be there to stay for a few more years while I heard a few others (namely purple seat color aircraft) are out their way next year.

FSJZ, when you get a chance can you please update the fleet list? My only known findings are from the 77W: There is no more 77WN designation, so SWU-SNA are all 77WR with the recent hatch of SWV. About the A380's I think SKB and SKC are deleased but please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

SWG is already on week 4, and I can safely presume retrofitting, surely not like what we had earlier in February; plane went out of service but came back unretrofitted.

I thought the 772s with the purple seats had already exited the fleet...

No problem. As far as I know, SVF and SRL still remain the purple seat craft in the fleet. SRJ has recently exited and is now with NokScoot.

And with 9V-SMS, which has landed at Changi, the SQ A359 fleet is now 19.

Actually, I don't think SRO has got the 2006Y seats yet.

See this video from a week ago.

No, I am certain it does. At the 3 minute mark you see the seat backs. They have 2006 IFE controllers. If the seats were still the original reupholstered ones, the controller would be in the armrest.

No disrespect to the videographer but he’s actually spliced in an incorrect photo because those are not the same seats as what was shown in his walkthrough (before 3:00). Look carefully...

I stand corrected- very well examined!

The complicating factor is that the leather in the regional J seats has been reupholstered to the new darker brown, but even though there's very few chances to see in the walk through in Y, those armrests are too dark and chunky to be ex-77W.

                              • That’s weird. Based on the guy’s video, that’s the old “refurbed Y”. But strangely at least two cabin crew I spoke with on seperate occasions have confirmed that RO has the 2006Y. Anyhow, I’ll be on 3x 772Rs in the next two weeks...if I get SRO I can confirm it’s status for you guys.
