    • Great, so we have SKU, SKV, SKW, and SKY in the fleet. Any news on when the last A380 (SKZ) is to be delivered?

Seem like a temporary swap of aircraft to a smaller B777-300ER. Any idea why?

The current schedule right now sees SQ424/423 being operated by the B777-300ER, with SQ306/305 as A380.

In the period of March 2019 (at least), SQ618/619 and SQ285/286 are operating using A380.

              • As announced Hi-fly A380 interiors remains identical to SQ

For sure SQ have almost completed rolling out their new Suites and Business products with their 5 new A380, and thereafter soon to start a refurb with their older birds... that said if you managed to bag a seat on a Hi-fly wet lease you may have seats in better condition than the legacy SQ A380. The cabin looks factory new as per the leaser conditions on return of the aircraft.

                • So SQ took out the PE seats from SKA to SKE n put back the Y seats? So when SQ lease the plane, the seats were paid by the owner? Or SQ just lease the plane without the seats?

                  • I thought SQ 2006Y seat is a “proprietary” seat for SQ since the LED strip light below the seat monitor is a patented design by SQ and no other airlines have this kind of feature. Does Hi-Fly have to pay royalties for rights to use these seats?

Seems the lease agreement mandates SQ to return the birds on the original factory condition, which was without PEY

                            • hopefully by the time SIA do the first refurbishment and reconfiguration of its older A380s, the feedback of the Suites doors open directly across each other and pax can see right through when the doors are opened will be modified in a way that the positiondoors can can be changed so that the suites cannot look directly across.
