Might explain why SQ948/949 is operated by 9V-SVB (B772) instead of A333 today.

SSI suffered a tail strike. Likely during landing.

9V-SSI misbehaving on the 25th, and now SSC on the 27th. The surviving A333s must be upset at their recent retirement of three more sisters....

The right engine stalled. And a Singapore minister Mr Amrin Amin was on board as well.

Tail strike on landing ? Tailstrike is a rare enough event and it usually occurs during take off. But landing ?

The accidents of JL123 and CI611 were results of faulty/inadequate repairs following a tail strike event during landing.

Issues with the AOHE of the engine.

                              • A lot of delays and some diversions due to the weather this afternoon, which will spill well into the evening.

On top of that, it seems like SQ406|29NOV (SIN-DEL) operating by 9V-SKI just had a RTO and is now returning to the gate.
