No they aren't. 738s in SIA livery are only operating SQ flights. 738s in SilkAir livery are only operating MI flights.

Doesnt this like defeat the purpose of integrating the two brands.............?

What he say is not true. And if you look at his other posts(such as SQ should repaint those 7 B737 that are not transfer over into SQ livery before disposing), I think we can just ignore his comment.

                Whilst this seems generally correct:

                https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/9v-mga (ignoring the incorrect duplication)

                It's not always the case:

I think the SQ148/147 rotations to BWN are a known exception, where MI have been operating the flights on a wet lease arrangement for SQ. This ends on 15 March when the BWN flights will revert to full SQ ops.

Yes correct don't let BWN confuse you. This route is still being operated on the SilkAir AOC with SilkAir registered (and liveried) aircraft as part of a longstanding wet-lease arrangement using SQ flight numbers and callsigns until 15/3.

Aircraft on the SQ AOC cannot fly MI flights and vice-versa, without a wet-lease agreement in place, which would have to be approved by CAAS on a route-by-route basis.

                    • 9V-MGB is in service too. It is flying to Phuket today, as SQ736.

                      • Each SQ 737-800 aircraft will be on rotation to fly at least one scheduled flight until all 9 aircraft are flown.

                        • Worth noting that only MGA, MGB and MGD have been moved from the SilkAir AOC to the SIA AOC as of 28/2.

I heard there is an approximate May 2021 timeline for all 9 to be moved across.

                          • 9V-MGE entered service with SIA as SQ158 to PNH this evening (17/3).
