If they have no problem then that's fine.

Was looking forward to checking out the F side on Sunday prior to the inaugural to LHR but I have had to cancel it.

Here are some pix of the F side.

Service was ok, all wait staff are cabin crew, and they are trying.
We were escorted all the way thru from check in to boarding,
however there is no premium line,
so the escort barges thru to the start of the queue,
and everyone else gets indignant. It got a bit uncomfortable at times.

The F lounge was nice, they try to do table service,
but if you prefer you can help yourself at the buffet.
Food was below F status though. It's no TPR in that respect.

The crowd was the usual Plats and DYKWIA's, you know the ones with "titles".
Actual F pax, maybe 5, and we were 3.

Still an improvement on the old F though.
SQFG, smoking lounge still there and same size, with full bar.
And Haagen Daaz still there, too.

        Enjoy.

Thanks. GB is right - not too many changes. The table service now extends to those areas near the windows instead of previously only near the bistro. The smoking room looks very much like it used to - only new chairs.

At least they weren't "enhanced" as they were in the SKL 184 miles down south..

I'm still pissed off they took away "my" smoking room at the SKL T2F.

I call it "my" because the agents would look there first when they were looking for me.....

You could just stop smoking altogether.

                    Thank you from Malaysia Airlines.
The F side is getting a more substantial refurbishment, so hopefully the result is something at least half decent. Thankfully, I haven't got a whole lot of travel planned during the renovation period as I'd imagine the Regional (Rimbun) lounge being packed to the rafters during peak periods.

                      Indeed.

That F Lounge used to one of the best around, it's crap now.

Funny time of year to be closing lounges to be honest. It's the sort of thing TG does....

It certainly wasn't open when I was there on the 9th. Was told there's still much work to be done, so I'll be surprised if it's reopened already.

And those pics aren't new - some aren't even pics of the KUL lounge!
