The Great Soak Redux!

*Update*

So, after my previous rant about them losing the tax-refund form, without any prompting, 3 days later, they credited back the amount. However due to currency exchange rate fluctuations, I've lost $32.68SGD.

Oh well! No use crying over spilt milk. It could just as easily have been worse/dragged out for an extended period!


Now, back to that meal...

Buffet - With this kind of spread it was difficult to restrain myself

So I just had to pretend that there was too much pig in everything. Unfortunately, there was also a Specials menu.

So, as I walk towards the shower attendant, I notice it's a very young Asian guy attendant, but he's rather young. Turns out, after our briefly but very pleasant conversation, that he's Thai (I guessed, and he confirmed). So after conversing in Thai for a short while, he's surprised and happy enough to give me Bathroom #1.

Yes, that one. With the tub!

Sorry to hijack this thread, I was given the honor of taking a retrofitted A340-300 New First Class on X'mas Day from SIN-MUC leg and had the chance to use the First Class Lounge in Munich for the transit. After happily taking photos in the lounge, I was politely told by the staff that photography is not allowed and that since I had taken the photos, I should keep it for myself not to post online, anywhere to maintain the exclusiveness of the lounge.

Should I listen to her? :S

No problem, no hijacking here - I was never told in any of my visits not to take photos. There are many TRs out there with LH FCT photos, mine won't be the first, nor shall it be the last. But it's your prerogative, I'd say. The lounge IS part of the experience, after all

Furthermore, LH F is only redeemable with a BD 2.5x multiplier and only on the 744 routes (not sure about their upgraded 744s as per Carfield's TR).

Not true. The A346 is also redeemable. The upgraded 744s can be booked, albeit with less availability.

Disagree. The made-to-order food -- especially the Wiener Schnitzel as it's made the traditional way from veal -- is the main highlight.
