  • SQ118|03MAY (SIN-KUL) was delayed by 2.5 hours and operated by B777-200ER (9V-SVB) instead of the scheduled B787-10 (9V-SCB).

    STD: 1845
    ETD: 2100
    ATD: 2118

As a result, the return SQ119|03MAY (KUL-SIN) is also delayed.

      • seems like the brand new 787-10s are having some teething problems, but fortunately they are being run in on these short sectors frist before being deployed to further regional destinations.

Seems like 9V-SCA still remains grounded in KUL.

SQ119D (operated by 9V-SSF) only landed back in SIN at 0437!

          As a result, SQ972|05MAY (SIN-BKK) is being operated by B777-200ER (9V-SVC).

It's also currently flying to KIX as well, which has started a couple of days ago. But I agree that with the new aircraft there will obviously be teething problems.

NRT is due to switch from the 18th of May.

It was a hydraulic failure that occurred during landing. (as SQ516)

The Aviation Herald and other media sources have picked up on this:

9V-STY has already returned to regular scheduled service.

                  • Due to a technical fault with 9V-SWR(B777-300ER) requiring a last minute equipment swap, SQ241|11MAY to SYD has been retimed to depart 2 hours and 5 minutes later.

                    STD: 0710
                    ETD: 0915

                    9V-SWK is the replacement aircraft.

                    • ...seems to effect also SQ326 on 11may and consequently SQ325 tomorrow.

                      • My SQ861 from HKG is also delayed according to messages received, and it looks like an 'old' config 380 instead of a new one.

They’ve sent SWS up to Frankfurt on SQ326 today.
Does that mean a business class upgrade for the PEY pax or a downgrade back to Y? Hmmm

SQ326|11MAY is running on schedule but is operated by 9V-SWS!

SQ856/861|11MAY supposed to be operated by 9V-SKU but seems like it may have gone tech too and is taken over by 9V-SKF.

Interestingly, 9V-SWW is operating SQ634|11MAY to HND.

Couldn't they have just assigned 9V-SWW to SQ326|11MAY and 9V-SWS could remain on it's SQ634/635 rotation?

                                Indeed 9V-SWS.

J is full, and they use the F cabin with J Service. So i suppose some PEY pax got an upgrade.
