Seems like somewhat decent utilisation for the (current) single Asiana 77E w/ First Suite.

        OZ236 « ICN 1100 — 0950 ORD » Days 135
        OZ235 « ORD 1200 — 1600 ICN » Days 135 (+1 @ arr. ICN)

        OZ735 « ICN 1910 — 2225 SGN » Days 47
        OZ736 « SGN 2340 — 0640 ICN » Days 47 (+1 @ arr. ICN)

        OZ104 « ICN 1000 — 1210 NRT » Days 7
        OZ103 « NRT 1330 — 1600 ICN » Days 7

But the plane stays for 19hr on the ground in ICN between day2's OZ235 arrival and day3's OZ236 departure. It also spends 18hr on the ground in ICN between day6's OZ235 arrival and day7's OZ104 departure...

Asiana could have placed in this aircraft on OZ735 on Days 2467 (+1 @ OZ736 arr. ICN), seeing that OZ735/736 goes daily OZ could have made better utilisation with this frame.

Isn't that an odd route for them to launch a new F on?

Which one? They are launching it on three routes.

              ORD

ORD used to be a 3-class route then it went to 2-class. S25 is right in that it would probably have been better to put it on perhaps JFK.

OZ have always been an interesting airline....but I love it.

Never trust a Korean Airline who promise to have their brand new F product on SGN-ICN.

Well if that ever happened you could take revenge by decimating their DP stock

Something tells me I posted this a week ago. Thinking some bonehead forgot to hit the "Submit New Thread" button. Doh!

Which is another reason I figured you wouldn't take the RGN crazy fare.

Funnily enough.....I did decide to get my money's worth.

I was the only one in F and the crew were fantastic.

I thought about it, but I don't want or need any more travel at the moment. There are some cracking routings booked.

                          BIG Thumbs up to OZ

Wonder why they run it to SGN rather than SIN. It will compete better with SQ.

This new OZ suite product is very similar to SQ's A380 suites. From what I do know, since you guys think that it's of decent usage, it's because there's only 1 B777-200ER with the new suite product now. Another one will be added next year.

Aircraft with the OZ first suite also comes with the OZ Quadra Smartium product in business class. For economy class, I'm wondering how it looks like.
