    I completely forgot to take the menu from QF29 with me. But I've got some pics and will put them up later when i get to writing the TR.

    I do remember the champers list though:

    Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve Mis En Cave 2003

    Because of the way the champers were loaded, upper deck J will only get Lanson and main deck will only get the CH. Unless you make a specific request otherwise. I didn't mind either but the very nice FA brought up a bottle anyway as there weren't any properly chilled Lansons left on the upper deck.

                      Thanks for the amazing food photography as usual, Carfield.

                      The way the pre take off nuts are presented seems to vary from flight to flight. I've had them come in a packet like your QF73 flight, and I've also had them come warmed in a small dish. Bizarrely, there were a few times I've gotten them in a packet with the first bar service, but when offered the nuts when I order drinks in the latter stages of the flight - they'd come nicely presented in the little dish. Seems to depend on the crew of the day. Trivial complaint in the grand scheme of things, but the latter presentation is obviously nicer and feels 'more premium.' Some consistency there would be nice. The most consistent tends to be the flights to NZ. Either there's no SOP with this or certain crew deviate from SOP.
