It was indeed fake news, as I had mentioned to Kim, the author, that this was not being able to be substantiated. She responded, and apologized, and mentioned that there was confusion in conflicting reports. The page has since been taken down but not after I had challenged its authenticity.

Thanks for sharing these lovely photos and your updates as always @SQKevin. And you’re definitely on the spot re SGB being delivered this weekend. According to FR24 the aircraft is now on the way to SIN, flying the “normal” TLS-SIN route this time. At the moment it is flying over the Black Sea, with ETA @ SIN around 13:35LT, about 9.5 hours to go...

You are most welcome, wlgspotter. The lovely photos come from a350 production.net. 9V-SGB is definitely on her Delivery Flight and should arrive at Changi at around 1.05pm local time.

Here are photos of 9V-SGB taking off on her Delivery Flight.

          • Just noticed that the new ULRs have the same number of lavatories (vs current long haul A350s - 3 for 42 pax) in Business for more total Business passengers (67). Hopefully the waits for lavatories won’t be too long.

For comparison, latest A380s have 5 lavatories for 78 pax.

The lavatory depicted behind row 29 of the seat map at the back of the Business cabin in the middle is actually 2 lavatories, so there are 4 in total.

Ah ok. The seat map is showinh one handicapped lavatory as of now. Hopefully they will correct it to be more accurate.

                • 9V-SGC has been moved to the Delivery Centre. Possibly another SQ A350-900 ULR delivery this weekend or early next week.

Wonder which one will actually operate the inaugural Newark. Might not necassarily be SGA.

Also 3 aircraft is sufficient to cover EWR daily, so does anyone know why they started at 3 x for the first week? Don’t they trust their new planes?

I think they're just very cautious about delivery dates and complications messing up their launches. Ever since their first A350 they've been like this.
