Could be possible. I definitely don't think we should assume the older set will be refitted first. The new layout compared with the all upper-J layout only loses a couple of seats in J but gains a huge number of Y seats, all of which represent extra revenue in peak periods. Economically it might make sense to do SKL-T first, but the other major factor is coinciding the refit with already scheduled overhauls.

Still in Hamburg-XFW for cabin fitting.

          Meanwhile, this is MSN255 (F-WWAM/9V-SKZ) on 03MAY18.

          • I see so does this mean SKZ could get delivered before SKY?

Unlikely. MSN253 (F-WWAB/9V-SKY) is already fully painted. (as of February 2018)

Both the frames are in Hamburg-XFW at the moment.

              • It looks like SQ237/228, which are normally operated by a 77WR have gotten an A380 this past Saturday and even today. I don't remember this being scheduled via routesonline or any other source.

I think this is one off to HiFly.

Yup, as mentioned in post #820.

Though now it does not seem like -SKA and/or -SKB will be going to HiFly as the entries for MSN 0003 and 0005 are not reflected anymore. Perhaps they'd take either -SKD or -SKE.

They have a total of 2 A380s on order at present.

                      • 9V-SKD has just departed on an air-test as SQ8898. Presumably in all-white as well.

Was this an operational change? As i thought it’s meant to be on the new J and new Suites?
