I was doing a booking today for a multi-city flight: FRA-SIN-HGK-SIN-FRA.
I got a specific price for an economy W ticket and just before payment the page told me I would earn an amount of miles equivalent to 50% of the actual flown miles (15,962).
So I called SQ in FRA and asked them about it. They checked themselves and we found out there were, for exactly the same booking, same flights and same W category, 3 different prices: they got 2 different ones and I got a third one on my screen, with 3 different mile amounts.
For safety, I let them do the booking so I am sure all the legs are in W and I get full mileage accredited. Only negative point, beside having to spend more then an hour with SQ in FRA on an international call, is that I could not reserve the specific seat & food I wanted...
Anybody has been experiencing the same? Could it be due to the fact that one of the 4 legs was in a Q category or something?
