  • With BD going, what's the next best option?

So now we know LH is going to exercise its option on BD:
http://www.sqtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4188 what's going to be the next best option?

Am thinking of LH, what about the rest of you? Would you consider NH?

Good question. I'm sure each of us will reach our own conclusions.

However, if you do conclude LH or more precisely Miles & More to be the next choice, then getting there via being BD Gold when the programmes merge is easier than earning the 100k status miles thru M&M.

That's what I was thinking as well. When LH bought the LX (SR then), their elite got 'comped' so am thinking that route as well. But its the following years I'm thinking about.....Not so sure if I'm going to reach 100K/year, that's my problem.

It's 100K every 2 years or, if timed right, every 3 years:

I signed up for Diamond Club not so much for the easy Gold renewal, but the great earn-to-burn ratio.

Any idea what's the next best alternative in terms of earn-to-burn, with a flying profile of 40% SQ Y, 50% SQ J and 10% other carriers?

Separately, does anyone know if LX top-tier members received 2 M&M e-vouchers when their accounts were converted to Senator?

I thought I had this being addressed in:

Perhaps we should merge some of that?

I believed the OP is concerned whether he/she could achieve 100K EQM in Miles & More in a calendar year despite the fact you only need to achieve it within 2 years after qualification. One can't get requalification if he/she can only achieve 100K EQM between 13 to 24 months over 2 calendar years after qualification.
