The best compact camera

I know that there are a lot of cameras nuts here with their DSLR cameras, which take photos on board the planes, but what is the best compact cameras for the job?

I find most compact cameras don`t like the low light and using the flash can upset the other passengers. I have a Panasonic with wide angle lens which is ok if there is enough light.

To comparethis canon with the TX7 side by side :

i have S90 also, but to compare with low light shot, TX7 is way better than S90. The way TX7 capture in low light is by capturing 6 different image then combined them together, and the process is < 2seconds for combining 6 images

the Panasonic LX3/Leica D-Lux 4 or the Canon S90 for everyday usage...

trying to get an S90 in Shanghai now for 600+ sgd compared to 749sgd back home...but they wouldnt let me swipe my 'foreign' card... cash only... when i try to withdraw cash the machine is allowing me only 500rmb a day...less than 100usd -_-

I'm in a dilemma. I plan to get the LX3 BUT there are persistent rumours of a LX4 coming 2H this year. Should I get it now or wait?
