Hotel choices in Manila

How in the world did the Peninsula not make that list?

My list?

Peninsula Manila has been one of my family's favorite hotels... I have actually been a Founder Member of their Pen Card membership for years. Our last stay there marked our last year of having the Pen Card membership and did not renew anymore... sad part is that our last stay was even the time when we booked a Club room. I won't go down to details but I'm not sure if we will go back. Sure it could really be a good hotel for many that's true, just not for us for the meantime.
