I was just skimming the S-L newsletter and it mentions:

The Singapore Flyer, regarded as the world's largest Ferris wheel, made its first spin on February 11.

More than 700 executives from 17 corporations and their guests took the ride from capsules which gave them a view of three countries, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

The Singapore Flyer will officially open to the public on March 1.

        Did you know?

        • At 165m (541 feet), it is 30m taller than the London Eye.
        • The wheel can accommodate 28 people in each capsule.
        • Each ride costs around S$30 per person and lasts 30 minutes.
Can you really see all the way to Malaysia and Indonesia ? If so, presumably you must see more of Singapore than just the port and a golf course ?
