  • SQ New Livery, Larger Golden Goose, No SQ Logo on Engines...

Most of you may notice that some of the SQ aircrafts had changed its livery, for example:

9V-SPP Larger Golden Goose, No SQ Logo on Engines
    http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1232892/M/

9V-SFA Same as above, MegaArk Title & WOW-THE-WORLD member Titles removed, Larger SQ CARGO Title, Larger Golden Goose, No SQ Logo on Engines
    http://www.jetphotos.net/link/photo_link.php?id=6024644

9V-SWK No SQ Logo on Engines
    http://www.jetphotos.net/link/photo_link.php?id=6025733

Just wonder why the SQ management hate those brand so much, MegaTop, Jubilee, Leadership, MegaArk, SQ logo on engines...etc

it seems as if SIA is now only focusing on the "SINGAPORE AIRLINES" logo rather then anything else. Its a shame to see those bird logos taken away from the engines.

And yet the A380 still has the bird logo on the engines, I wonder if they'll remove it. 9V-SPR also doesn't have the bird logos on the engines, but the smaller bird on the tail.

personally I didn't like the bird logos on the engines, seemed to spoil the lines of the trent 900

I think they are a combi of:
                Pack inlet and exhaust
                Negative pressure relief vents
                Wing illumination lights
                Static ports
                Positive pressure relief valves
                Forward outflow valve
                Crew oxygen thermal discharge disc

I can't figure why they removed the golden bird logo on the engines Doesn't make sense to me. I think it takes away some of the beauty of the planes

On a separate note, interesting to see a 773 in KIX

9V-SYC just re-painted, larger title, no logos on engines, horizontal cheat line at the tail...
                      http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=6038719

So if you didn't look it closely, you probably will mis-recognize as a 773ER instead of a regular 777-312...

So far the following aircraft had been re-painted as well on top of the previous post stated

                      777-212
                      9V-SRA (removed engine logo)

                      9V-SRI (removed engine logo)
                      http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=6037360

                      777-312ER
                      9V-SWG (removed engine logo)

I recently flew 9V-SYD from HKG-SIN...the logo was replaced by a visible white rectangular patch.

Can't they just keep the logo until the plane is repainted???
