  • Hotels in New York Central

    Hi guys,
    First time in New York.
Would appreciate if you could help me with some ideas in that regard.
Looking for a hotel for 2 nights without pushing the budget.
I do love a good breakfast in the morning so!!

    Cheers

There are plenty of good 3 star hotels around Times Square which are reasonably priced for New York.

    My recommendations are
Comfort Inn - W46th Street (great location, newly refurbished)
Holiday Inn Express - W 39th Street (new hotel)

I also recommend to check flyertalk.com where special deals are posted. I got the Holiday Inn Express over Thanksgiving for just over $100 a night incl tax thanks to a Friends & Family promotion listed there. This promotion is still running by the way ...

They are also showing Astor on The Park at $40/night under special promotion.

Novotel is also having a promotion at $135/night

    So much choice ....

    Enjoy.

Pardon me if I'm going OT, but while you're in NYC, and if you're in the mood for some jazz, check out Iridium Jazz Club at 1650 Broadway (51st Street). They're one of the best you can find, and not too pricey.

you could probably find a decent rate $150-200 at the Four Seasons. Not that bad

Really? REALLY? I'd like to know where!

You do mean the Four Seasons on E 57th St, not the Four Seaons La Cucaracha Budget Motor Inn in Trenton NJ?

The Library Hotel at 299 Madison has been great when I stayed there.
The small rooms are very small though
