Great reaction by NZ one has to say. No back and forth but a clear speedy decision. What the impact on fares will be is a good question. If they want to make it successful they should not increase it much and better leave it as is.

BTW, I also heard some colleagues mention that recline could be way better. It is only 8 degrees or so and while they like the overall seat and all they didn't like that part.

Just read an article today (Bloomberg I think) that NZ is delaying the licensing of the Eco bench concept to other airlines as it is supposedly very popular with travelers and enjoys 30% higher bookings then rest of Eco. Hence they want to be the only ones offering it for a while longer.
