Ticket Expiry Extension or Transfer

Hope someone can give some advice on three questions:

I have a Lon/Syd/Lon purchased economy ticket March 2012 with 12month expiry. In theory, the return trip back and land in London has to be completed by 8 March 2013:
a. Can the return journey be extended?
b. Can it be extended due to family illness?
c.Can the return to London portion of the ticket be transferred to someone else?

None of the above. Your only option is to see if you can get a partial refund.

In practice, as opposed to theory, your last flight need to be scheduled to take off by 08-Mar-13. The landing time doesn't matter, you can arrive LHR on 09-Mar-13.
