Then right after that I went to immigration desk. I got stopped and said I was only allowed one bag on board. Of course asked me that because she couldnít see the orange tab. I gave her the orange tab and then I was let through. Cleared immigration and then security check no problem. Then I walked to the terminal and saw that there was a ramen store open. Okay Japanese food for me. Here is what I got for 75HKD so I didnít pay. I was stingy so I didnít get drinks because I knew I could get free drinks at the lounges.

Right after I ate the food I left about half of it because it tasted really bad. I took a picture of HK terminal before I got on the train to gate 60 area.

The first thing was that I wanted to go back to the TG lounge because I wanted a TG F and C baggage tag.

I got to the lounge the lady said that they didnít have any here so they would have to get some from the checkin desks. I had to wait 10 minutes and promptly came. I also took pictures of what food was on offer and the shower room that was available for use. I did not need to shower.

I say again. Excellent report. Love the photos, too. I just realized it's time for a visit to the Big Apple since it's been a couple of years. Unlike some others, I actually like the Asiana seat for comfort. But that's because I put the entire comforter/duvet on the bottom as a mattress pad and use the lighter blanket for a cover. All very cozy. And I think their food service is amongst the best. Looking forward to the rest ...

After that I went to the IFL and on the way I saw that there was a NH lounge. I tried to get in, but they were only contracted so I was denied fine. I didn’t bother with the JL lounge again. I got to the IFL, but before I went into the IFL I went to the RCC side and took some pictures of the lounge.

Then it was IFL time. Here was the food on offer at the IFL.

Then I took a random photo of the planes lined up at HKG airport.

Then after the quick 5 minute visit at the IFL. I started to slowly walk back towards the SKL. While walking back I took a photo of the later today departure of SQ. The registration of the aircraft was 9V-SQG.

Then 15 minutes later I arrived at the SKL here is a picture to the entrance of the SKL.

Then of course you have to look at the First class side food.

Then I took a picture of the F side.

Then a picture of the C side.

I was there for maybe 10 minutes? Then I headed to the gate where we were going to leave. The flight was actually leaving at 8.50 now since they got the aircraft serviced quicker?

SQ 1 HKG-SIN
Jan 14th 2007
9V-SPB 747-400
Departure Gate 23 and Arrival Gate F56
Departure RWY Don’t know. Arrival RWY 2C

Once I presented my boarding pass and passport I was allowed to go down premium gate line. I missed the OZ escort service. Once I got to my seat I was helped with my bags. I told that I would be able to handle it myself, but still the Leading Stewardess was helping me. So once I sat I was asked for my drink choice, I got OJ. I took a picture of my seat before sitting down. Seat was 2A

Then after that I asked the lady to take a photo of my in the skysuite. Yes this is the time when I got my photo w/ my pink polo shirt taken. This was for you guys otherwise I won’t do it. Haha after that we pushed back and had no problems taking off. There was a CX 747-400 that was taxing. But I was not sure about where it was going.

Once in the air I took photo’s of where we were.

Flight today was full in F and couple seats open in C and the Y cabin was about 80% most middle seats were empty. Then the Leading stewdess came around with the menu. Once that completed the beginning of breakfast. This is a picture to show that the table cloth has the F logo inscribed into it.

Then the table layout

Then we start with fresh fruits. YUM

Then the meal followed with Strawberry yogurt and my requested Milo.

Then I choose the fish dish.

Straight after breakfast, I asked the Leading FA for the toys that are onboard for my friends cousins. They said they will bring it right away to my suite. Before they even got to the toy section I put my suite down to bed and snoozed away for almost 1.5 hours until the captain came on the PA and said that we were starting our decent into SIN. Right when I woke up the FA brought over my toys that I wanted. I got up and took a photo of the cabin and then went to the bathroom to take a couple of photos of it.

Oh forgot to mention flight time was 3:20 minutes same as SIN-HKG the prior week.

This was the worst crew I had out of all my 10 flights I had with SQ. More about that later. Arrival into SIN was around noonish. I quickly cleared immigration and my friend was waiting for me outside already. We head to get Indian food and then back to her house. After we got there we headed out to Vivo city. Here is only one picture I took of Vivo city.

Once we got there we went to the movie section and we found that Blood Diamond was about to start. We watched that and then after the movie we went outside to see if we could still get a good picture of Sentosa Island. Here is the photo of Sentosa I got.

Once we got the photo we left back to my friends apt. I got back showered and packed only what I needed incase of any trouble on the CMB flight. We headed out to go get Chilli Crab. After Chilli Crab I was dropped off at SIN airport around 9.45pm.

I went to the SKL F lounge right away. I was thirsty. I got a bottle of evian. I checked SQT and FT to see if anyone was going to be around. Nobody. Then I went to the Checkin desks and Service counter. I chit chatted with the workers there for about 30 minutes until I needed to go to the departure gate. I asked them is anyone going to be around tomorrow or the day after since I was going to be here three days in a row.

Again luck is never on my side. Departure gate today was E27!

SQ468 SIN-CMB
Jan 14th 2007
9V-SQF 777-200 no AVOD
Departure Gate E27 Arrival Gate 7
Departure Runway 2C Arrival only one in CMB

Once I got through security the lady got my boarding pass and passport checked it. As with last week she offered the landing card, but I said I did not need it. She was confused, but she didn’t give me one. Then boarding already had commenced and I was one of the last passengers on board. Once I got on board the leading FA escorted me by name to my seat 1A. I told her that I will be with her all night. She was surprised. I had BTC Kyokaiseki. I told her that I want to have that for my return flight along with the appetizer. I said that right after take off I am going to sleep the whole flight. She said okay and went along her way. I got water before takeoff also.

Once takeoff happened I just went straight to sleep. Flight time was 3 hours and 15 minutes. I woke up when the airplane was already decesnding into CMB. I got a glass of water sat there and 15 minutes later we arrived into CMB. Here are two pictures when I woke up of where we are.

Once we got to the gate I told the FA’s I’ll see you in one hour. Once I got off the plane I took a photo of the hallway leading to immigration.

Here is the transfer desk. I guess this is where everyone does their CMB turn boarding pass issuance.

Once I got to the transfer desk they have to call SQ to say that the passenger is going to checkin for a specific seat number. Then I was issued a lounge invitation to the Lotus lounge. Since I had time I went around the airport to see what they had in my sleepy state. First I came back to the tea shop I bought orange peko tea last week.

Then a picture of the hall way again in a different location.

They had a BMW at the airport I didn’t read for what though.

Right after exploring the airport I found a sign that Japanese people helped building the airport here at CMB.

Then it was time to go to the Lotus Lounge.

Then as soon as I got in I took picture of the lounge.

Then onto the food section. Remember last week it was dirty. But CGK said that I was missing out on food. So I tried everything that they had on display today. It was actually really clean and the lounge was empty. Only about 3 people today last week had over 10 people. Maybe because the CX flight was leaving later this week?

Oh I should mention that the previous flight had 4 in F 50% in C and less than 20% in Y. This flight was 2 in F 20 or so in C and 80 or so people in Y. Once I got on the plane again the Leading FA said welcome back. She was not sure which seat I had so she cleaned everything up. Again I got the headphones which I used briefly. I took a picture of the cabin.

Then it was time for takeoff. I got OJ and then my meal started. First with the table layout

Then we get the appetizer.

Then we get the Japanese appetizer.

Then it’s the main meal. Everything was good.

For dessert we have fruits. I only wanted Mango’s and I don’t know how to spell this. Percimenon?

After food I went straight back to sleep again. I got a good 2 hours worth of sleep. Once we arrived into SIN I said my goodbyes to the wonderful crew I had. Well they didn’t do much. I cleared immigration right away. Oh everytime I enter SIN I always stop by DutyFree to grab my friends mom a 3 pack. Then I got on the MRT to Tanah Merah. And changed went to Kallang station. Then I got picked up by my friends dad. Got to their house and then used the interenet a bit. Showered and then my friends friend woke up. We walked to the bus stop together and I rode the bus to Shenton Way. Here are some pics that I took of SIN while on the BUS.

Once I got off the bus I went to Robinson Rd. I needed to go to the NH office in SIN because UA actually put one of my mileage numbers wrong. So after that I went to the UA office to get an award F ticket for my dad. Then I walked over to my friends office. We had lunch together close to the Maxwell Hawker center. After that I went to my friends house again. I got there and passed out for 2 hours and then it was time for me to go to the airport again for my final F leg. Once I got to the airport my friend's dad dropped me off at the F curb. He said to use the F porter for once. I did and had him lug my bags to the curb since I needed to get my boarding pass reissused to SQ stock anyways. That was done and on my way to the SKL F again for the last time.

Since I went though SKL SIN so many times I didn’t take any picture it was finally time for me to take some picture of the SKL. Here is a picture of the big SKL sign.

Then we have the entrance to the SKL. Left is Raffles and Right is F as many know anyways.

Then some random pics of the Lounge.

Once I got onboard I was greeted by name and escorted to my seat. The Leading FA today was Fi. Well that is her nick name. You already saw a picture of her in the other thread. She was so nice. It was my final F segment and I didn’t try Krug yet so she opened a bottle just for me to have a sip. Haha I wasted a $150 dollar bottle. Oh well she was happy to do so.

This picture is to show how much bigger the screens are for the AVOD version of the 777’s.

Then after takeoff I got nuts and water.

I should mention that once I got on board I asked the crew if they were the turn around for tomorrow morning? They said yes. And they asked why? I said that I will be with them tomorrow morning. They were surprised. After that they got really nice to me. This was a wonderful set of crew. I also got the IFS a lady version. I know itís rare, but she was kind. My Leading FA was going to serve the Y cabin tomorrow so she was going to be in the back with me also.

Okay onto the food report. First of course we have the layout of the table.

Then we have the appetizer. This was spicy, but I guess people would like it?

Then finally we have the fish dish it was good also, but spicy. Me other fellow F passenger got a change of dish because it was too spicy for him.

I didn't picture the dessert I got Milo and Mango again.

Arrival into Bangkok was 20 minutes early. We arrived at Gate D7. I went directly to the immigration. There was no wait for the Thai passports. Of course I was quickly through and exited door C. My brother was suppose to pick me up. I was out by 7.15pm. Which was 15 minutes after landing. Of course BKK at itís best it said that SQ68 was arriving from Door B. Good job guys! I walked over to Door B and waited for my brother 30 minutes since he got caught in traffic. We went to China Town had dinner, went back to my brother apt and packed up. I took a shower and snoozed off at 10:30. That was the earliest I slept during my whole trip. Well I should say the most I got during my trip.

The alarm clock went off at 5am. I got a solid 7.5 hours of sleep. I woke up fresh and relaxed for once. Took a shower said my byes to my brother and then left the apartment. I caught a taxi in about 2 minutes. The taxi driver got on the freeway. Here is where people when going to the new BKK airport. Take the Rama 9 road. For the heck of it I asked the driver to use the Chon Buri road that road is longer and more costly. The Rama 9 road takes roughly 30 minutes the ChonBuri road takes about 40 minutes and cost about 20-40 baht more. I got to BKK airport at about 6.15am in the morning. Went directly to the SQ checkin counters.

I already had my boarding passes all the way back to KIX printed from the SKL in SIN. So I showed the lady my boarding passes and passport and she checked I had a visa to Japan. Tagged my bags all the way to KIX. BTW I kept my Pink F priority tags on so she didnít bother touching it. So I had F priority tags. I should have put the solitaire tags also.

Then I started taking random photoís of the airport.

Right after that I went to clear immigration. The line was long! I had to wait for over 20 minutes before I could clear immigration. That was not fun at all. Then after I cleared immigration I took a picture of the King Power they seriously need to get rid of. This is a brand new airport, but it was designed like it can not handle a lot of passengers itís way too crowded.

I walked towards the TG lounge near checkin desks. I come up to this sign saying where the lounge is. This time I don’t get to use the F lounge, but I still get to use the C lounge because I am a UA *G.

Once I got down to the lounge I showed my boarding pass along with my UA *G card. I was let in. The lounge was way too crowded. I grabbed a cup of OJ and then pretty much left and walked to the gate. Once I got to the gate I waited for about 5 minutes and they started boarding *G, F, C, and PPS passengers. I was actually the first one to board. I showed the guy my *G card and was let through without any problems.

SQ61 BKK-SIN
Jan 16th 2007
9V-SQI 777-200 AVOD
Departure Gate D7 Arrival ?
Departure RWY ? Arrival 2C

I was the first passenger to get onboard. And I quickly took a picture of the empty Y cabin.

Once I stowed my bags in the overhead lockers, I went to the rear of the aircraft to find Fi. She was walking towards the front of the aircraft when from the otherside of the aisle I scared her. She was shocked to see me. Although she knew I was going to be on the aircraft she didn’t expect me to be on so quickly. She introduced me to her colleagues. I shook hands with a couple of them. They were all so friendly and nice. After I said my hi and stuff I went to the front of the aircraft to talk to the IFS. She was nice and talked to me for a bit until I had to go sit down. I also asked if she got decent sleep. She said that she only got 4 hours of sleep. I said too much partying? She said they went out and ate so not much time to sleep as the pick up for crew was at 5am.

Flight was uneventful. 2 hour flight time. I got served breakfast asked for milo. BTW milo is only for C and F passengers, but I got it anyways since they were taking special care of me. Everytime Fi walked past me she smiled. After breakfast service I went back to talk with Fi for a while and then it was time for landing. The IFS allowed me to sit in F during landing.

This was so kind of her. Although the flight was almost empty this allowed me to clear immigration much quicker.

Once we arrived into SIN I said my goodbyes to the IFS too bad I couldn’t say bye to Fi since she was at the back. But I did get her e-mail so we are in contact. I cleared immigration quickly bought the Heineken 3 pack. Went to the MRT station. Again went to Tanah Merah and then went on to Raffles Place. After I got out I went to see my friend and sat down at their office for 20 or so minutes and then we went to have lunch. We ate close by to Maxwell Hawker Center. After that I met up with my friend’s dad and went back home. Then I came back out to shop at Orchard road. My friend’s dad picked us up and then went to the hospital to see a person.

After that we went to have food at this delicious Chinese place. If you want the name of the restaurant please PM me. Then we went back to the apartment I took a shower my friend and everything came home. I packed and said my goodbyes and thanks to my friends. I got dropped off. Since I bothered their family so much I actually purchased a cordless house phone for their house. The dad was surpised and said thank you.

Once I arrived at the airport I quickly cleared immigration no more F lounge. Well not really. I went to the F lounge. And then I got to see a guy who checked me in and gave me the boarding passes for my BKK-SIN-KIX sectors. I asked him to check the computers if anyone was sitting in my row. He said none. I finally asked him to check once checkin closed. My row was empty yay.

I was already one of the last passengers on board again. Since I knew my row was going to be empty I sat in the middle seat. Once take off happened I raised up the armrests and went straight to sleep. I woke up about 1.5 hours before landing. Flight time was 5:55minutes. 4 hours of solid sleep. I got served breakfast. And pretty much after breakfast fell asleep again. Arrival into KIX was 8:15am. My sister came to pick me up went home.

I got home ate breakfast and fell asleep from 11.30am-7pm. Woke up for dinner 7-8pm then went straight back to sleep 8-7.30am Wow I guess I was really tired. My parents said you slept a lot. 18 hours of sleep! I still managed to eat breakfast and fall asleep again for 2 more hours!

5 days in Japan was a good break from flying. But it was time to go back to school so flying again and completing my 50k platinum points on NH in 3 weeks.
