![]() hi all
I'll be in Osaka and Kyoto for 5 days in December. Has anyone had good Kobe beef in either of these cities? I know Kobe is a 45 min jaunt away from these cities, but we are travelling with seniors and prefer not to travel to Kobe just to eat Kobe beef. If anyone has any recommendations for good Kobe beef places in Osaka and Kyoto, that'd be appreciated. Oh, and preferably somewhere we can make reservations as we are a party of 10! Thanks! |

You can certainly find good beef in the street markets like Kuromon Ichiba market. (For other examples of the beef available in Osaka markets, see here.) In Kyoto, Mrs yflyer and I ate a memorable meal at Temra Matsu, not far from Arashimaya. Not a beef place, but they had great tempura and other dishes. So I don't have specific restaurant recommendations for beef, but you will not have any trouble identifying beef specialist restaurants in the main eating areas of Osaka. |
