Hi guys,
Flying MEL-JFK (F/R award!) in December. Have 4 day (98 hr) stopover in Singapore. Was wondering if I can check in my bags in MEL all the way through to JFK even with the long stopover. I can take a small carry on for my few days on the stopover, and it would be very convenient to not have to wait at Changi for my wife's and my two large and heavy bags, then drag them around to wherever.
I realise there are places that store luggage for a reasonable fee landside and airside and in each terminal, I was just hoping to make it even cheaper and more convenient. Turn up at MEL, forget for a few days, find them on the carousel at JFK.
