    I read 9 from an earlier post (9V-MGA to 9V-MGE and 9V-MGK to 9V-MGN), but now I am hearing it's 11?

    Thanks
From what I understand, it will be 11 738s from 9V-MGA to 9V-MGK. Both 9V-MGA and MGK have been painted in SQ colours

I’ve lost track...so what’s gonna happen to the rest of the 738NGs? MGO/P/Q?

Believed most if not all the existing 738s will be repainted and transferred to SIA eventually as the fleet is still relatively young.

Nine of SilkAir’s 17 B738s are leased and some of those may be returned as leases expire and more MAXs arrive.

Some may end up with Scoot.

Scoot do not operate any 738s and doubt they will take in any ex-Silkair planes or any other 737-800s.

Neither does SQ and they are taking some.

At one point it was planned they would take some / all the 737-800's.

SIA is only taking in the 738s because its closing down Silkair and absorbing it into SIA, but SIA never ordered any narrow body planes and only inherit the 738s as it merged Silkair into SIA.

Looks like they forgot to paint the orange stripe on the winglets.

Seems strange seeing an SQ narrow body….

SIA have transferred 13 738s to its registry a few months ago. The planes transferred are 9V-MBN and from 9V-MGA to MGM
