    Dynamic lighting

On my CA F flight the other day, not only did they have AA flagship suite style seats with AVOD on the 744:

I also noticed that the cabin lighting was purple rather than the usual white. The in-flight blurb provided mentioned dynamic lighting which can enable the passengers to create a desired mood. Do other airlines currently have this sort of system ?

Googling, I found this about the 7E7 Dreamliner:

Quote:The current configuration of the interior will feature repeated sweeping arches, dynamic lighting and electronic window shades whose transparency passengers can change during the flight. Diehl Luftfahrt Elektronik will provide the cabin lighting, which will include a simulated "sky" ceiling effect produced by arrays of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) which can change in colour and brightness.

SQ's A345s have a rather basic and IMHO effective mood lighting system as well. When they turn up the lights, its not so harsh like on the other planes.

EK's A345 has the full works
