They really look extremely stupid with this kind of marketing gimmick. I'd rather a lucky draw to win a ticket in Y on a real flight than this. Any time.

Well if you look at the post, there is nothing to imply that the contest is to win a free ticket.


People just assume that the contest is to win the first class ticket. But if you read carefully you can tell this is not the case.

Stupid and lame? yes, I agree.

The way I see it, they are demo-ing the Suites and new J products to public just like what they did at the F1 Pit back in 2016 (2013 F & J, 2015 Y)

There wasn't any confusion or impression they gonna give any free Y tickets to anyone

Did you notice the difference between the original advertising captured in the Mothership article compared with the current roadshow advert? SQ changed the marketing angle for these roadshows after the negative feedback on FB.
