  • CDG minimum connection time

    I need to connect at CDG, T1 (SQ's 0655hrs arrival) to T2 (AF).

    I've done this connection once before, a couple years back, and recall taking the CDGVal train which connects the terminals in a few minutes.

    Question for the more experienced travellers here:
    Is it insane to contemplate a 0800hrs connection from T2? Am trying to avoid waiting another 2 hours for the next flight at 1000hrs. (Will only have hand luggage, and hope to have SQ issue the connecting BP in SIN.)

      A combination of factors including fare class availability, and needing to be in Paris at the tail-end of the journey.

        I would give myself a bit more time really. I have done a transfer once with AF SIN-CDG-AMS with about an hour's transit time and it was really, really tight.. Considering you are transferring on to an AF flight, I don't think SQ can issue you an onward BP in SIN.

          ZYR is Brussels train station and TN is the train I think!

          Glancing down it, it seems it's 2 hours for a 1 to 2 connection except 1-2G which is 2.30 hours.

              Assuming you are on a single PNR and traveling with hand-luggage only, I suppose you could risk the short connection. Failing which, they should rebook you on the next connection if there is space. However it may not be wise if your schedule is tight.

                Well to be precise, the connecting flight is LX, operated by AF. So I'm assuming it will indeed be from T2, even though the LX booking website does not specifically state T1 or T2. (NB: have not actually completed the booking yet, until I decide whether to book the 0800 or 1000hrs departure...)

                  CDG is a b***h of an airport to connect. I have a similar situation as yours, arriving on the SQ flight - I booked my AF departing flight on a separate ticket 3 hours later.

                      Yes 2F indeed. Just completed the booking (where the terminal was finally indicated), having chosen caution and a morning pastis over a mad dash for the 0800hrs flt.
