Interestingly, one-way into Oz cost $163 (including taxes 12 days ago), and let's just say the return cost if I'd bought TZ tickets there and back would have been less than what I usually spend on my regular SIN-BKK TG jaunts.

You will of course be thrilled to hear that I've secured my Row 11 back on BNE-SIN (with KF zero status) on the usual golden goose red-eye. I'd been waiting til after the 8th of July due to my wariness with crazy system glitches also and it seems to have paid off. This also dovetails rather splendidly with a rather complex 3 stage itinerary I've got coming up over the next 6 months.

I might just Scoot off to see my folks a lot more regularly now. Or pay for them to Scoot over for a laksa, as I've exhausted my leave on my honeymoon this year.

And I've secretly wanted to try the bright yellow bird... hoping for Goin' Scootin'
