Changes to earn & burn propositions on SQ/MI for Velocity members

If there are any Velocity members on this forum, you may be pleased with some of the changes Velocity has announced effective today (18 Mar) for earn & burn on SQ/MI:

* Members can now earn Points & Status Credits on N, Q, T and V classes.

* Significant reduction of Reward Seat pricing for First and Business Class redemptions on a range of markets. This means you can access A380/77W premium cabin redemptions out of these markets at far lower price points than before.

Finally, Velocity is also running a bonus Points promo on SQ/MI operated flights (including codeshare services marketed by Virgin Australia):

Argh, this is just missing out on a pair of Silkair flights I have the week before (4-6 April) the promotion commencement date (10 April)...

Does SQ Suites get lumped in with First?
