hi everyone, i'm thinking about spending 6 days at the le meridien seychelles from dec. 8-14. the lowest rate is 420 euro per night, which seems pretty reasonable. i just recently qualified for spg platinum. my question is, do resorts like these typically give an upgrade? i would like an ocean suite, which is 620 euro per night. i am willing to pay the extra money to get the nicer room, but why pay for the cow if you can get the milk for free? anybody's experiences in this regard are appreciated. i am also considering the w maldives. has any sqtalker been to either of these properties? if so, what were your opinions? i could not find any reviews on here.
