Yes that right! The first plane to debut the 2013 cabin products. Delivered to SQ in Sept 2013 so can expect some fair wear and tear to the big comfy leather J seat. Flew this bird twice to NRT, in 2014 and 2016.

I flew SQ318 to LHR back in late Jan which was served by 9V-SWZ and the number of damages and scratches to the J seats were already quite a handful!

    • SWF emerged on a test flight this afternoon as SQ8877 and is currently scheduled to enter service tomorrow to HKG on the SQ866, presumably with the new cabin products.

      • Indeed. SWF is doing 866/865.

Quick check of 865 seat map reveals that it's in 4 class config.

        • SWI hasn't flown now for a week so it's likely to have commenced its refurbishment. SWH has also been out for a long time. SWG is the unusual one- after being on the ground for so long it came back with the old cabin.

          • So those in the F8C42Y228 config before SWU are all not retrofitted with the 2013 seats yet ? Just checking as I am new here

            • Nope, there are only 7 planes in the 8F/42J/228Y configuration with the 2006 seats left. The rest have been fitted with the 2013 seats, with some having the 2015 PY. These are the following planes with the 2013 seats:

                    • SWI would be about 2 weeks into the refitting process by now. It'll be interesting to see if they keep two going at once like they did with SWF and SWH.

                      • Perhaps bring in SWG???

SWG is a strange one. It spent more than long enough on the ground earlier this year to have been refurbished yet emerged again in 2006 configuration.

If we see one of SWQ-T refitted first, that could be because SWG requires no other regular maintenance at present.

                              Thank you for that info!

SQ910 gets such a mixed bag, it wasn't much of a help by itself.

SWI is certainly likely to be the next 77WR, but I'm now also keeping an eye on the old 772ER SVC. It's been out of action for a good 6 days now- wondering if it could be receiving the same treatment as SVB, although those old planes do get a lot of maintenance, and I am still rather stunned that they've spent time and money updating Y in SVB instead of flying it to VCV or ASP where it belonged.

                              • So far using Icargo.net don't see any 77W coming in that will stay for maintenance/refit as most of them are flying out again. Possibility as of now could be SWR or SWT only if they were to keep 2 planes going at the same time.
