Terminal 2 remains closed as of right now. This is causing a lot of delays and disruptions, especially to MI and other T2 airlines.

Some MI flights are actually departing from T1.

      MI488 (SIN-CCU) from gate D47.
      MI342 (SIN-KUL) from gate D44.
      MI456 (SIN-CJB) from gate D35.

This fre at T2 which lead to a shutdown of T2 Departure (not sure if arrival hall was still operational) is certaintly not a good thing for one of the world's best airport. Mant flights at T2 were disrupted and tv news mentioned "unprecedented" delats to be expected.

No idea how that got in, I must have pressed the wrong link on Youtube.

A friend of mine who's there right now says that pax have been shunted to T3 and the terminal is a pandemonium now. Crowded. Wonder how many pax will not see their luggage when they arrive.

Terminal 2 is back in business and flight operations are progressively being resumed.

Expect the delays to spill over to tomorrow, especially with return sectors of Indian MI arrivals and the flurry of missed connections because of that.

Sh!t happens. You clean it up and move on. As long as no one was injured...

Mrs yflyer is flying out of T3 this afternoon.

All was normal in T3 today when I dropped her off at the airport.

She said the T3 airside area was normal as well: very quiet and uncrowded.

Hope the situation is back to normal at T2 as well, after yesterday's chaos. Glad no-one was seriously hurt in the fire.

Fire alarm just gone off again in T2, causing a bit of panic. They just announced it was a false alarm.
