Yes it is daily. This is old news. And it operates from T1.

They have a set of local (Singaporean) crew which have recently been hired.
God must have been a ship owner, he placed the raw materials far from where they are needed and covered two-thirds of the earth with water...

btw why AY skip BKK. they used to do HEL-BKK-SIN.

Will Swiss skip BKK also when they resume SIN flight?

because they can fly the sector nonstop on the 343

DC10/MD11 in the past couldn't do either so that most likely explains the Bangkok stop coming to and from Helsinki

Do a dummy booking on AY website and it shows Singapore - Terminal 1.

I heard some changi airport staff's saying that it would be operating from T2

AY will fly seperate flights HEL-BKK, and HEL-SIN.

Great to see that another Oneworld carrier flying to Europe... from SIN.

I'm not sure whether they want to split up AY from the other OW carriers since currently all OW airlines use T1 while T2 is more a *A place. But again, they've split up ST with VN's move to T3...

AY will connect to QF (and JetStar) flights going down under, similar to BA. Therefore it makes sense to operate from T1. I now eagerly await the day we see SWISS back in Singapore
