The majority of my associates got caught up Saturnday night in a bottleneck that happened using the central underpass between Gate 2 entrance and connecting to the esplanade and elsewhere. my friend, Dan, and I had been watching Qualifying from down at Turn 10 - we attempted to go over the bridge to the grounds behind the Padang stands - crowd flow was all one way!
So we just walked straight out of Gate 3, down the road to City Hall MRT and immediately got on a rather empty train back to Bedok. Time to exit and get back - around 50mins. Rest of group, stuck underground.......2 hours.......

On sunday, went to try and return the KangarooTV thingy - crowd flow was still all one way on the bridge. Ushers and security were getting really confused and trying to get us to leave the track, failing to grasp that unless we got the TV sets back to the other side of the track, we'd be charged mega bucks. They tried to suggest that getting a stamp as we left would be fine - but when I very calmy asked if they would accept responsibility for the tv handset if I was not allowed back into the track on the other side, we got a security escort through the crowd - so my apologies if you wondered what those crazy folks where doing going against the flow on the bridge between Turns 9 and 10.
If God had really intended men to fly, he'd make it easier to get to the airport.
