    Please be informed that Singapore Airline will be implementing the new IATA Fare Package for sales and travel out of Singapore from 15 May 2007 onwards:

    The fare changes by regions are as follows:

    Region % Fare Increment for Normal Return-Trip

    Southeast Asia and Japan
    F Class: +10%
    C and Y Classes: +5%
    Special Y Classes: +3%

    Korea
    F and C Classes: +5%

    South Asian Subcontinental
    F Class: +10%
    C and Y Classes: +5%
    Y Class: +3%

    Africa
    F,C,Y and Special Y Classes: +3%
    Middle East
    F,C,Y and Special Y Classes except Israel: +3%
    F,C,Y and Special Y Classes for Israel: +10%

    Looks like fares are going up again..

    A noob question, but what does the IATA fare package gotta do with SQ fares? Its already one of the highest fares around to practically anywhere out of SIN. Does SQ follow IATA fares? I thought IATA fares are full fare / published fares.

      Many fares ex-SIN are full fares especially for J and F.

      And so SQ do follow them.
