  • The Mandarin Oriental San Francisco

Flew from ICN to SFO on SQ16, J class, seat 11A.
Stayed at the MO 4 nights, in the simplest (and cheaper) room they have, with city (not sea/bay) view.
Stay was excellent, no complaints whatsoever, hotel is highly recommended.

The hotel offered very good value for what I paid. Service was top notch, staff were informative on anything, bill at end was clear, Silks restaurant offered the best (by far) breakfast I have ever had in my life, and I should have had dinner there as well (will certainly do next time).

Transfer to/from hotel from airport was by hotel car (hotel actually uses contractors service for this).

Hotel location is in the Financial District, which may not please some, however it was very good for me (I went outside Marriott and Westin and thanked myself for not choosing to stay there - hotels in area seem to be preferred much more by tourists or area visitors. Financial District gets very quiet after office hours but is safe.

Seats 11A/K on the have two windows, though not easy to show in this picture.

Can we also have a breakdown of your shopping please?

Many have said the service they use is one of the best in the Bay Area...and for a reasonable price.

So, were you able to check out the St. Regis and compare?

Again, no. So cannot compare the two hotels. May be next time!
