Recommend me a hotel in Singapore

Before I do any internet research of my own, I though I'd ask here for some help. Especially after I created a thread for an NYC-Paris flight which saved me $400 or so, so thanks for that!

Anyway, I will be in Singapore during CNY. 19th to 22nd January to be exact with some friends.

So here is what I'm looking for:

-Budget of around SG$250 per night for about four people (so if I must take two rooms, around SG$125 per night per room)
-Location near MRT station
-Preferably easy access to some halal food

you can try marrison hotel. it is nearby bugis mrt and there is many halal food around the area.

I just checked on agoda, the superior room without window selling at SGD115, bigger room is at SGD123. other alternative is V Hotel (next to Lavender MRT), selling at SGD136.

Other than those 2, I think should be Geylang area

Hotel 81 Tristar. There's a 24hr foodcourt downstairs and since its in Gelyang Serai area, you'll find Halal food there.
Paya Lebar MRT is relatively nearby

To the OP, I just found this site, may be useful for you. Some of the apt is $250/days for 2 beds room.... Look nice also
