Looks awesome! That'd put UA very much ahead of the game amongst the US carriers.

              8-abreast in a 777 sounds a bit narrow.

UA says the seat width is 23.5 inches but that's with the arm rests down, I'm guessing. I'm wondering what the actual width is...

Sounds very BA with rear facing seats

From the seat map, though, the seats don't alternate front-back as on BA. It's a row at a time that faces front and then faces back.

I looked around but couldn't find the seat map.

It's in the right-side margin of the newswire article, lower down on the page.

A big step for UA! They've pretty much trounced on Delta as DL was claiming they were going to be the first US carrier to go fully flat in J and AA as recent reviews have not shown their new J as favourably as its been advertised. But having 8-abreast in J is kind of tight even with the BA-esque forward and rear-facing design (you can also see they've taken another detail out of BA's book with the adj. armrests). The physical seat part also looks too similar to their new F suite but at least the traditional UA grayness has been cut down (a bit).
Such a way about you, My Singapore Girl. Wouldn't go away without you, My Singapore Girl.

Thanks simong for bringing it to our attention. Liked the International suite.

Hope other US airlines will follow soon with UA raising the bar. At the end of the day, it can be only good for us pax.

Looks like I have to give it a try sometime later.
