  • Flew back from BKK on STV earlier today, much better seat than the 787. I know they are a bit long in the tooth, but a very pleasant flight.

Well it’s pretty much back in service, which suggests STQ isn’t gonna depart the fleet soon....the 3 month’s away must have indeed been a D check.

        You’re correct it’s already doing SIN-DAC-SIN x2 rotation today.

For a A330, 3 months for D check is still a very long time to be grounded as it would take about 4 weeks at most for a A330 D check. In fact earlier days SIA Engineering has taken only 5 weeks to do a 744 D check.

Hahah, I’m just speculating. Maybe it broke a wing or something then 😂

One of the best, but nothing beats Thai's business class rear cabin on Boeing 777-300ER marketed as Premium economy for Copenhagen and Stockholm.

                            • When is 9V-STO supposed to leave for Brussels airlines? I’m about to step on board it at HKIA. Must pat the aircraft goodbye.

Do you mean on the Zone B of the Thai business class where there are 18 biz seats?
