          • We're left with 3 more 777s with the refurbed Y seat - SVM, SYF, SYL

SVM should be gone by end of FY2019/2020, but SYF and SYL are here to stay until the next FY at least

              SYL is 773 right?

I was on SYJ 2 weeks ago. Was this aircraft gone? It has refurbished Y.

FSJZ is only commenting on remaining 777s with pre-2006 cabins, which will reduce to SYF & SYL very shortly. If you scroll up just a little you will see SYJ is definitely still listed as being in the fleet.

Yup sorry I meant 777s in general in my original post, incl both 772s and 773s.

That's weird, according to my records, it is supposed to have the 2006 Y seats, instead of the refurbished Y seats with the smaller screen and light brown upholstery

                  • I think when he said refurbished Y, he was referring to 2006Y.
Strictly speaking, “2006Y” is also refurbished. Refurbished-refurbished

                    • We are down to two remaining SIN-IST rotations on the 77E, after which we can reasonably hope that SVM will be put out to pasture.

                      Exciting times!

SVN is already in the Arizonian desert. I think you mean SVM.

Right that’s what I meant! Thank you for correcting!

no. I was on that plane on 10-nov, the screen is similar to A330.

So not sure which version is this? 2006Y?

Yes it's the 2006Y, which has been so for a long time.

                              • Simple rule of thumb if seated in Y: you’re in an old pre-2006 cabin if the IFE controller is next to your leg. The 2006 Y design introduced controllers located on the seat back under the screen.
