                        the P in PL does not refer to a class of travel As for the full meaning, I page the creator of the title (he knows who he is) to answer

                            I apologise for bringing this thread back OT but there used to be an old sailing term, "POSH" meaning Port Out, Starboard Back.

                            The aviation equivalent is now F and/or possibly C as the sun beating on one side of medium of travel is less of a problem nowadays.

                            For those of us who travel in the Y cabin from BNE, QF is the go for getting to Asia (FF points) but SQ is better for coming back (day flight).

                            I therefore propose the term "BOAB". Boeing Out, Airbus Back.
                            "First to Fly" the Airbus A380.
