  • The world's most luxurious airline

Was channel surfing a while ago and happened to switch to BBC Knowledge. Scenes of 2017 suites were shown and that anchored me right in.
This hour long show had an exclusive behind the scenes view on how the new suites were made and its inaugural flight. And the passengers honest review of the new class as well. Pure SQ porn(family friendly) for everyone here.

I watched it - saw it was coming as I had wanted to watch the re-run of Blue Planet II - and quite enjoyed it. Attention to detail is very interesting.

Slightly surprised by the 2 Brits on the inaugural flight who were not impressed: it seemed their main beef was not having a double suite, but surely they would have seen that at booking??

I got the impression they used a travel agent. They probably assumed and wasn't told.

I got the impression they were a pair of whiney prats, but then you're probably more charitable than me(!)

It was on BBC Earth: you may be able to find it on BBC Player if you have Star Hub

The reason they were p*ssed off, apparently, is when they booked it was the old 380 with 12 seat FCL cabin and they had a pair of centre Suites next to each other. When the bird got swapped for the new version with 50% less seats they no longer had adjoining Suites.
