  • SQ's A350 Delivery Flights usually take place in the late evening. 9V-SHP & 9V-SHQ broke the trend with early evening Delivery Flights, thus allowing them to be photographed.

There are currently 2 SQ A350s awaiting delivery, 9V-SHR & 9V-SHS. As far as I am aware, there are no other SQ A350s in the FAL or Delivery Centre, so we do not expect any more deliveries this year other than the 2 mentioned.

        • The apron folks at Changi must be working super hard to find space for 4 more A350s & 2 more A320s these few days. There’s 200+ planes on the ground now so kudos to them.

Yes it must be a big juggle, but fortunately now SIA planes are flying and even as of now there are more than 20 SIA planes in the skies now mostly are A350s and 787s, excluding the few 744s cargo flights

                          • As reported by Flight Global, it seemed that the SIA Group has “secured” deferral of new Airbus and Boeing aircraft deliveries with the respective aircraft manufacturers. Not surprising in view of their recent announcement of their financial results/position and retirement of aircrafts.

                              • With the still average low load and using the ULR means SQ will miss out on the cargo carrying which is often full.
