Still A350 long haul version with PE.
    Nice

Wonder why they left it out to start with? All other routes were loaded for a few days now. Schedule looks the same. Guess we'll never know!

Singapore Airlines’ flights to both Canberra and Wellington will not return even as international travel restrictions ease, with the carrier making a departure from both national capitals.

The withdrawal also marks the end of Singapore Airlines’ trans-Tasman flying, as Wellington was linked with Singapore via Melbourne.

Hardly surprising. Some in Australia have seemed determined to turn it into the worlds largest prison. Again.

Don't think so, Auckland and Christchurch will be enough.

Restart of SIN-MEL-WLG-MEL-SIN service rumored to be restarting in October 2023
Any further information or confirmation would be greatly appreciated.
It will be extremely popular, again, even more this time with massive under capacity on trans-tasman flights.
              It can't come soon enough!

So it looks like MEL will loose the A380 (operating as SQ237/228 pair) with the addition on the 5th daily SQ247/248 flight pair from that day onwards huh...

Edit: It looks like MEL will
loose the A380 from end Nov which will go to AKL instead, as per MainlyMiles - https://mainlymiles.com/2023/05/25/s...from-november/

From memory, I recalled SQ announced the closing and "termination" (as opposoed to simply suspending) WLG as a destination/station, along with ARN, among possibly other stations, when the pandemic hit in 2020. With that it looks like SQ won't be returning to WLG anytime soon I guess...

Hmmm… while I love a fifth flight, I can’t say the allocation of aircraft or timings are optimal. A359 could mean either variant, and I suspect some of these are long haul, some are medium. Removing PEY off SQ228 is a disaster, but so would SQ228 being reduced to an LH A359. (The flight, not me) Definitely NOT a fan of SQ248’s timing, although it would connect with SQ326 I suppose.

Actually if you look at the GDS, all of them have PEY for sale, which means they are all planned to be operated with the LH A359.
