I've been around SQtalk for a while now (albeit most of the time was lurking), but when I wanted to post something recently I got a message saying my post will be added after my moderator has approved it? I seriously wonder why this is.. anyone?

It is normally to make sure it`s not SPAM and that you are a real person. You have made quite a few post so not total sure why you are getting this message, unless it is because you don`t post very often, I`m sure one off the moderators will let you know.Last edited by Singapore Sling; 13 July 2010, 03:01 AM.

The system prevents from spam by queueing for moderation only the messages containing links and pics posted by users whose number of posts is below the threshold set.
We enforced this rule some months ago. Maybe the posts you are talking about were posted before the enforcement or they didn't contain any link/pic.
Hope this Helps

It's my turn on the security queue ...
Perhaps I may be new to this forum, and hence my last two posts are now also on queue for vetting by the mods. And yes, they do contain links. And one would know why when one reads them.
I await while the mods pat me down.
