Discovery Show on SQ A380 first flight.

Does anyone know the title of this Discovery Channel show on SQ A380's delivery process and first flight ? I believe it was aired last year and it has never been aired since. Trying for ways to purchase or download it.

The series was entitled "World's Biggest Airliner: Airbus A380" - you may be able to download it from iTunes. There's plenty of information to be had from a Google search and also the following site:

Nope. Searching on google and yahoo turns that up, but that's not it. This episode was aired somewhere in late 08 and showed how SQ flight crew and tech crew did inspections of the first a/c prior to delivery and showed plenty of clips of the first flight to Sydney, from the crew to pax and the flight itself. Very, very hard to find.

Although this is not from Discovery, it has the first flight, prior delivery, ceremony etc. But its in french.

I'm watching it now. Very interesting documentary. SQ is featured quite prominently. But more interesting is the creation of the A380. That said, the other day my flight on the A380 from SIN to HK failed to take off due to navigation system fault but SQ swap with another A380 immediately. Great corrective action A lesser airline would have rescheduled / canceled the flight or put us on subsequent flights on smaller aircraft.

Am also having a Saturday night in to catch this, and it's quite an informative behind-the-scenes look here and there. Great tv for aviation buffs, for sure. If only this was on HD.
