In theory, because Apple tends to control 3rd-party retailer prices quite hard, the iPod should be sold at whatever is the online Apple Store (Singapore) price, less the 7% GST.
This is not the case for most other electronics brands, where (if you know where to go and how to bargain) the in-town prices, inclusive of GST, are less that the marked-up pricing at Changi (even excluding GST).
