  • Taxi Prices Difference? KUL vs KUL LCCT

I was wondering if there is any difference in taxi prices to Jln Bukit Bintang from KUL and KUL LCCT? I'm thinking LCCT might be cheaper. Is it?

Yes it is - I can't remember by how much. Can't quite give you a quote for Bukit Bintang area anyway since I never go there from the airport. A bit bizarre since the LCCT is further away by road to anywhere in Downtown Kuala Lumpur.

Here are the taxi fares from LCCT:
      Budget : RM56.60 Premier : RM92.40 Family : RM138.60

I vaguely remember the budget taxi from KLIA to downtown KL was around RM69. I must admit I'm a fan of the KLIA express (RM35) and then taxi [unless staying at Hilton] (around RM10) from KL Sentral to hotel.

Last month, I took the Air Asia red bus from the LCCT.....for a mere RM9, and after 53 minutes in a comfortable air con bus, I was deposited at KL Sentral....a short walk later I was at the KL Hilton

I am a fan of the KLIA Express. Fast, clean and efficient.
