If you are not too particular on which chain/property, suggest to try www.priceline.com.

If US$128 a night is affordable, try the Chancellor Hotel on Union Square, rated no.5 on tripadvisor. Or check out the hotel website

        http://www.chancellorhotel.com/

        Its got rave reviews generally.

I am staying at the Hotel Adagio in Feb. It's a little more expensive at US$189 a night for an executive king:

San Francisco is also a big place.. where do you want to be at?

You may also try www.wotif.com for prepaid rates.

Hotel rates are much lower during Thanksgiving comapred to other days because occupancy rates are really low. Most people would have gone home to celebrate thanksgiving.

Check out this link for some info on special prices on San Francisco hotels:
              http://hotels.travelzoo.com/california-hotels/

The Fairmont is going for 169 a night and the Westin for 139 a night during thanksgiving A huge discount off their normal rates.

That said, it also depends on your budget also.

Hotel Adagio looks cool. Might try it the next time i when i am there.
Seems like it is going for 99 bucks a night during thanksgiving week and with a complimentary room upgrade voucher.

Starwood has some promos these days, I just got a night at SF Le Meridien for $119+tax. Nice rate and earns points/credit. Rate is for prepaid classic room.

Are you talking about the airport or the city?

                              One night in the city.

I know there's a Holiday Inn Express at the airport.
