You mean the Connexion transmitter box?

How come -SWA seems to have a bigger front wheelwell door or is it just the picture?

Yup! how come SWA has and SWB doesn't?

They both have 2 front wheeldoors. The ones further in front only opens during the deployment/retracting of the landing gears. Its the same of the main wheels as well.

Seems rather redundant to have two sets of hydraulics to open/close the doors when one would've sufficed. Perhaps the efficiency is a significant factor. Odd though.

-SWA was built in March 2006. Maybe -SWB was built after August 2006? It's not in the registry yet.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think it may have to do with aerodynamics. May be too much drag having all the doors open during approach

Most likely that is the reason or else there would be no reason to add all that unnecessary weight.

I love those gigantic engines. Same diameter as the inside of a 737, IIRC.

Thanks for the picture links, 9V-JKL.
Have you guys gotten used to the tail design? It has not grown on me so far.

I don't like it. The more royal blue they have, the better. Just too much white for me. I prefer the Airbus-style of having the "Singapore Airlines" writing in the middle of the aircraft.

Hmm... perhaps it is some kind of fengshui thing?

To me, the Golden Bird appears compacted in the new tail design. So I'm still waiting for the design to appeal to me. Time will tell...

The nacelle diameter of the GE90-115B (3.43m) is greater than the exterior fuselage diameter of the B737.

Haas -SWB even arrived yet? It's still not in the registry AFAIK.
